Boarding the ferry at Wellington, it was time to head to the much renowned South Island! Every person, every blog, every travel book out there told us this is the place to go – so we were super excited!
The smooth ferry ride showed us some amazing views along the way, but no dolphins (boo!). After around 3 hours, we docked into Picton and headed to our first Southern stop – Blenheim.
We checked into our apartment at Tresco, unpacked, and planned for the rest of our Southern adventure!
