The grand hotel entrance was welcoming and friendly, and a total different experience than the Chateau Marmont. It was clean, modern, fresh and the staff were super friendly, welcoming us with a choice of champagne or water. Our bags were taken care of straight away, and we were swiftly given our cards to the suite, and headed up in the elevator. WOW is all I can say for the next part. I had never seen such a beautiful suite.

The bathroom area had 3 rooms alone, with a full make up and dressing room.

The living area had a letter for Michiel, welcoming him to the hotel, with fresh fruit. Everything was perfectly placed, and lights came on as we entered every space.

The bedrooms were huge, with balcony views overlooking Hollywood. Everything was impeccable, and I couldn’t help but dance around the place, it was happy, clean, spacious and so luxurious!

I know staff are trained to be nice, but the service level here felt so natural. Greeted every day by the door staff, asking Michiel about his training for that day, and seemingly taking such an interest in how we were, and what we were doing with our day. Offering advice, maps, directions, and even a โ€˜house carโ€™ that could take us where we wanted to go within a few km distance. We took advantage of this service a few times, and the driver was so lovely, a super nice experience.

The rooftop pool overlooked the whole of Beverly Hills and more, and I even enjoyed rooftop yoga on Saturday morning, which was a great experience. The perfect base for our last week of LA adventures.

Thanks Viceroy! You made us feel like royalty!ย
