Bangkok

/

No trip to Thailand would be complete without a trip to Bangkok, right? We had to see this place! We hopped on a fight, which was loads shorter than what we were used to at just 50 minutes, and it was time to see a new city for our last few days in Thailand.

Goodbye Phuket!

The lights, the high rise buildings, the ‘commercialness’ of the city hit us first.

What a difference, from being in Phuket, which was pretty much made up of huts, tin houses, and super old decor. We stayed in the Wangmaiย area, which we researched based on vegan places to eat and sights to see in our immediate vicinity. We soon realised we had picked a great spot!

Our hotel, the Princess Pathumwan was attached to a huge mall with plenty of food options, and had all the facilities we needed – including a great pool, gym and fitness centre, which of course are also forefront of our planning!

I have him up so early, he falls asleep on the bike…

The suite was spacious, with big bedrooms and bathrooms, and the view was incredible – overlooking a city again – our favourite! It was much like Beijing in that way!

The city itself was huge, great to explore on foot, but prepare to sweat!ย
