Komedor Vegetariano

/

Open for lunch only, it was right across the street from where we lived, and promised to be vegan friendly! Hoorah! Although we manage in run of the mill places who serve animals, it is always nice to have more choice and variation in a vegan friendly place! Komedor Vegetariano.

It was typically what we have come to expect from these places, everything looks a little old, waiters tattooed and edgy, a smell of wood,ย broken chairs, etched tables and random plants dotted about. Nice, but nothing out of the ordinary.

We had the Seitan burgers (they even did vegan cheese – yay!) – and they were delicious! Something I notice a lot about vegan burgers (which we both love!) is that they can be a little dry – not here! Vegan mayo, vegan cheese – juicy Seitan – mmmmmm!

They also had great natural juices – with nothing added. What you see is what you get here. Great! Lemon juice, was just that – lemon, squeezed. Peach juice – you get the picture… and teas, made with real leaves and hot water.

A pleasant experience. What is expected from an eco veggie joint. Tasty food, worth a visit!
