There seems to be a beautiful spot around every corner in NZ. Cape Palister was highly recommended, so as it was rest day, we took a short detour from Martinborough. Cape Palister is used in a lot of the Lord of the Rings films – and we saw why. Vast open nature, lakes, sea, mountains – picturesque to say the least!
