It is located between olive trees on top of a hill, where GPS does not work. I found out the hard way (rentalcar people, please skip this part!), driving up an unpaved horse-track, fearing Iād get stuck, without cell phone reception in the middle of nowhere! Luckily the car ploughed through and it was worth it, what a view!
Montali is an award winning vegetarian hotel. It serves dinner every night and all can be made vegan. They have written a cookbook, everything is run by the nicest Italian family. The food is simple, but so delicious! We ate here more than once and it was different daily!
