Barcelona – Istanbul – 3 hours.
Istanbul – Hong Kong – 10 hours.
It was safe to say, we were ready to be on land! Although travelling business class (a first for me!) was a great experience – beds – who would have thought they would make SUCH a difference to a flight! Kudos to Turkish Airlines – great service!
An overnight stop in Hong Kong – the city with the most impressive skyscraper-studded skyline. With just one night here, we were soon out to explore.
Hong Kong is a super bustling place – I love it when a big city meets the sea – and this one was a beautiful one – the lights shining from the water was truly incredible, and the view we had from our rooms of the entire district was like something out of a brochure!
Although super smoggy in the daytime, at night the city comes alive, and we walked around, seeing some of the busy streets, sights and smells of Hong Kong by night.
Of course I had to get the obligatory tourist picture in front of those amazing lights!Â
