Valparaiso’s posher cousin, 30 minutes around the coastline, sits Vina del Mar. It was clear on entry it valued itself as a more up-market destination. Our home for 3 days, the Enjoy del Mar hotel. From being in the middle of nowhere, in desert ecolodges and more outdoors type places for so long, it was nice to have our bags taken straight from the car to the room, and a warm, 5* welcome into luxury.
We both got great rooms, with beautiful views of the coast. Fast wifi, big comfortable bed, massive bathrooms – and relax…
The swimming pool was also a BIG factor to liking this hotel so much! Quiet, warm & beautiful views. There was also a great, fully equipped gym! Most hotels just have a few running machines, but this one had everything that was needed for a gym workout – including TRX and weights!
Breakfast time. We didn’t hold much hope – with the past experience of vegan options at breakfast, BUT this time it was actually very good! A great selection of fruits and bread, with guacamole (hoorah!). Not the best in the world, but still, they had options – which is great!
Great stay, in a great location! Definitely worth a visit if you want more of a hotel/luxury experience on your travels!
